Located in the historic KM Building, Mercantile Steak brings back a classic dining experience to downtown Kalispell, Montana.
Our roots date back to over a century when the Kalispell Mercantile anchored the Flathead Valley as the premier retailer of quality goods and merchandise. Montanans from near and far depended on “the Merc” for everything from tack and buggies to household staples and cooking supplies.
Today, Mercantile Steak echoes that heritage and style with its original Tiffany-style lamps, its stained glass windows, and the copper-tinned ceiling. Our marble dining bar and the original rolling library ladder round out this classic Kalispell spot.
The menu is also an instant classic anchored around top-grade aged beef, chops, and fresh fish daily.
